Charity offers up to £5,000 for information to find the man responsible for the rape of a woman in Tibury, Essex
THE rape of a middle-aged woman late at night on the streets of Tilbury has prompted independent charity Crimestoppers to offer a potential reward of up to £5,000 for information.
The victim was dragged or carried from Dock Road near to Tilbury Taxis to Church Road on the evening of Saturday 9 September 2017 and was raped at around 11.30pm. It’s believed the location of the assault was in a grassy area next to a cluster of trees. The attacker fled the scene before officers arrived. He was not known to the victim.
A reward of up to £5,000 is being offered for information given to Crimestoppers charity that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for this rape.*
The suspect is described as a white man, with a local/English accent, aged in his 40s, at least 5’ 7” tall or above and of medium build.
