A TEENAGER has pled guilty to possession of a knuckleduster and drugs in Stifford Clays.
The seventeen-year-old from Tilbury, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pled guilty to the following.
On 25/03/2017 at Grays, without lawful authority or reasonable excuse, had with you in a public place, namely Crammavill Street, an offensive weapon, namely a knuckle duster.
On 25/03/2017 at Grays had in your possession 20 bags of cannabis a controlled drug of class B with intent to supply it,
He was sentenced to detention and training order made for four months concurrent. Overall term of order 4 months.
Reason for detention: The offence, or the combination of the offence and one or more offences associated with it, was so serious that only a sentence of detention can be justified for the offence because wilful and persistant non-complaince with court orders.
