A MAN was seriously injured after suspects forced their way into his home and assaulted him.
The 34-year-old man was knocked unconscious during the incident, which took place at about 9.20pm on Thursday June 15 in Hathaway Road, Grays.
He was taken to hospital with head and facial injuries, where he remains undergoing treatment. His injuries are not life threatening.
It is not yet known how many suspects were involved.
Detectives are continuing their enquiries and want to speak to anyone who saw what happened or anyone acting suspiciously in the area.
