A NUMBER of Thurrock police officers travelled to London today (Monday) to pay their respects at the funeral of murdered officer PC Keith Palmer.
PC Palmer was murdered in the grounds of the House of Commons two weeks ago.
Members of the Thurrock Community Police Team (TCPT) lined the route near the location of the funeral at Shoreditch.
The funeral cortege had travelled from Westminster where PC Palmer’s coffin had laid in state.
Essex Police officers who could not make it, paid their respects by observing a minutes silence at 2pm.
