
POLICE Raptor drugs team in the north of the county, and officers in our Operational Support Group, executed warrants at addresses in Clacton and Grays on Thursday 12 December as part of an investigation into the supply of drugs.
A 29-year-old man from Romford was arrested in Grays and a 59-year-old man from Clacton was arrested in Clacton.
More than 200 wraps of suspected Class A drugs and cash were found in Clacton, with a mobile phone associated with drug supply and paraphernalia associated with the preparation of drugs found in Grays.
Now, 29-year-old Jhazino Depass of Thameshill Avenue in Romford and 59-year-old Brian Lowry of Mason Road in Clacton are both charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin. Lowry is also charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
Both were remanded in custody and appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court this morning, Friday 13 December. They were further remanded ahead of a future court date at Chelmsford Crown Court.
