FOUR people have been arrested this morning (Thursday 12 December) in connection with drug supply in Essex.
Our dedicated Raptor drugs team in the north and west of the county, and officers in our Operational Support Group, executed warrants at addresses in Clacton, Waltham Abbey and Grays in as part of two investigations into the supply of drugs.
A 24-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman, both from Waltham Abbey, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis.

The 24-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis, possession of offensive weapons in a private place, and a firearm offence in relation to a can of CS spray found during the warrant.
Three more warrants were carried out across Clacton and Grays, with a 29-year-old man from Romford arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and a 59-year-old man from Clacton arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
More than 200 wraps of suspected Class A drugs and cash were found in Clacton, with a mobile phone associated with drug supply and paraphernalia associated with the preparation of drugs found in Grays.
All four suspects remain in custody while our enquiries continue.
Sergeant Andy Weeks said: “These were coordinated and swift operations and I’d like to thanks all the teams involved in this morning’s warrants.
“This drug dealing in our county has been severely disrupted this morning, taking illegal and dangerous substances off our streets.
“These drugs cause a huge amount of harm to individuals and our communities – stopping this breaks the cycle of crime and violence they create.”
