Grays Launderette Trial: Third man pleads guilty

A THIRD man has pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary and possessing an imitation firearm while committing an offence following the death of a man at a Grays laundrette.

Joseph Pearl, 28, of Charter Place, Watford, admitted the charges at Basildon Crown Court yesterday, Wednesday, June 6.

Harrison Fryer, 24, and Jerome Johnson, 36, both of Charter Place, Watford, previously pleaded guilty to the same offences on May 30.

Michael Williams, 35, of Old Farm Park, Milton Keynes, and Christopher Salvador, 31, of Hemming Way, Watford, are due to stand trial on Tuesday, August 28, after denying charges of conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary.

Pearl, Fryer and Johnson will be sentenced after the trial concludes.

Paul Robertson, 39, from Milton Keynes, died from multiple injuries following an incident at Baylee’s laundrette in Southend Road, Grays on December 4 last year.
