A MAN from Grays is set to stand trial on a number of charges relating to alleged sexual activity with a child.
Paul Gleeson, aged 35, of Caravel Close, Grays is charged with the following.
Between 13/04/2018 and 02/05/2018 at Grays, being a person aged 18 or over, attempted for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification, intentionally communicated with a boy, a person under 16 who you did not reasonably believe to be 16 or over, the communication being, sexual, namely sent explicit messages, images and videos.
Between 13/04/2018 and 02/05/2018 at Grays being a person aged 18 or over, for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification, intentionally attempted to cause a child aged 14, whom you did not reasonably believe was aged 16 or over, to watch a third person engaging in a sexual activity.
Between 13/04/2018 and 02/05/2018 at Grays in the county of Essex, being a person aged 18 or over, for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification, intentionally attempted to cause a child aged 14, whom you did not reasonably believe was aged 16 or over, to look at an image of a person engaging in a sexual activity.
A trial date of May 31st at Basildon Crown Court has been set.
Gleeson was remanded in custody.
