ESSEX Police is appealing for witnesses after a member of staff was assaulted at a pub on Lodge Lane, Grays, on December 30, 2017.
Around 12.30am, it was reported that the victim, a man in his 50s, had been verbally abused, assaulted and had his phone damaged, after he approached a group of two men and two woman and asked them to leave the premises.
The victim did not require medical treatment but was understandable left shaken by the events.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information relating to it, are asked to contact Grays police station on 101, quoting reference 42/183321/17.
