ESSEX Police is appealing for information after a woman was assaulted in West Thurrock.
It happened at around 6.30pm on Monday, February 5.
The victim, who is in her 20s, was walking along St Clements Road when a man approached her from behind and pushed her causing her to fall to the floor.
She managed to fight the man off before he ran away.
The man has been described as wearing dark clothing and had his face covered.
