Police still seek four Thurrock men who have evaded court

POLICE are no longer looking for James Edmead, 44, after he failed to appear at court.

Edmead, of Long Marton, Appleby-in-Westmorland, was arrested on Monday, January 22, and appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, January 23, where he admitted theft from shop, making off without payment and failing to surrender to police.

He was fined £300 and ordered to pay compensation of £29, victim surcharge of £35 and court costs £85.

On June 28 last year, Edmead failed to pay for petrol at a BP garage on the A13 in Orsett at 4.20pm and stole food from Orsett Cock petrol station in London Road, Orsett, at 8.30pm.

Police continue to seek information on the following men who have either failed to appear at court or have breached suspended sentences:

• Carlos Rodrigues Batista, 58, has C.A.R.B and a dagger tattooed on his arms and tattoos on his chest. He has links to South Ockendon and #Grays.
• Evaldas Kerza, 27, from Chafford Hundred, has a dragon tattoo on his back. He has links to Newport and #Gwent.
• Freddie Squibb, 26, from Aveley, has a devil face tattoo on his left arm and goes under the alias of Freddie Carroll. He has links to Cork in Ireland.
• Iosif Sarosi, 34, from Tilbury, is described as being of a medium build with dark hair.
