THE DEPUTY leader of the UKIP group in Thurrock is set to urge the leader of the council to insist police officers attend the remembrance service in Grays next month.
Cllr Roy Jones has tabled a question that is set to be answered at the next meeting of Thurrock Council (Wed Oct 25th).
The question is as follows:
“Would the Leader insist that members of Grays police station attend this year’s remembrance service at Grays memorial and stop the traffic for the minutes silence out of respect for all service personnel that have served and lost their lives fighting for Great Britain in many conflicts over the years”.
