A SOUTH Ockendon woman has been fined for being in charge of a Rottweiler dog that was out of control and attacked a woman.
Emily Savvides, aged 32, of Celadine Close, South Ockendon, appeared at Basildon Magistrates Court on July 6th, 2017 and pled guilty to the following.
On 20/04/2017 at South Ockendon, were the owner of a dog, namely Rotweiler, which was dangerously out of control in Celadine Close and whilst so out of control injured another.
The court imposed the following restriction: Unless the dog Boycey Rotweiler is kept under proper control by being securely fitted with a muzzle sufficient to prevent it biting any person, being on a leash when not in it’s place of residence, it must be destroyed.
Reason: Dog is a danger to public safety in absence of control measures.
Savvides was also fined £330.00
