A POLICE investigation has begun after a male was assaulted at Ockendon Railway Station.
An ambulance spokesperson said: “We received a call on Thursday at 6.30pm to reports of an incident at Ockendon Railway Station to which we sent an ambulance crew.
“Medics treated a man, believed to be in his 20s, for a facial injury before taking him to hospital for further care.
British Transport Police has yet to respond to a request for a statement.
