ESSEX police have started an investigation after an Ormiston Park Academy student was assaulted on the way to school.
Police were called to reports of an assault in Nethan Drive, South Ockendon, shortly before 9am, today, Tuesday, May 9.
A 16-year-old boy was assaulted by two suspects and received minor injuries to his head and body.
Enquiries are ongoing.
