FIVE men have been charged after police tracked seven stolen vehicles to an industrial estate in Princess Margaret Road, East Tilbury, at around 2.55pm on Thursday, May 4.
Police received information from a tracker and found the vehicles, which were reported stolen from across London, to a warehouse unit.
Tools and other specialist equipment were also discovered at the property.
Mindaugas Mazeika, 23, of Gantshill Crescent, Ilford, Lukasz Kostrzewa, 35, of no fixed address, Arkadiusz Weglowski, 45, of no fixed address, Maciej Jastal, 32, of no fixed address, and Aurimas Maliauskas 22, of no fixed address, have each been charged with one count of conspiracy to steal and seven counts of handling stolen goods.
They appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court yesterday, Saturday, May 6, and were remanded in custody ahead of a further court appearance.
