Police appeal for witnesses after collision on Dartford Crossing

ESSEX Police are appealing for dash cam footage and witnesses after they were notified of a collision on A282, Purfleet, at around midday on Friday 18 April.

A police spokesperson said: “The collision involved three vehicles just prior to the QE2 bridge.

The driver of one of the cars, a silver Mercedes, left the scene prior to police arrival.

Of the other drivers concerned – of a Black Mazda CX-5 and a grey Cupra – only one person sustained minor injuries.

All three vehicles were damaged.
