A MAN was quickly arrested after a Roads Policing Unit officers stop a cloned van, loaded with a stolen Fiesta
The Roads Policing Unit officers’ attention was drawn to a cloned van on the move on the A13 at Grays, shortly after 10am on Thursday 19 March.

The van was safely stopped with the help of colleagues from teams from across the force near the Stanford-le-Hope slip road within a short space of time.
Enquiries at the scene revealed it had been stolen from the Benfleet area in February.
When officers checked the rear of the van, they found a Fiesta that had been stolen just hours earlier.
A 38-year-old man from Basildon was arrested on suspicion of theft of a vehicle and handling stolen goods. He has been released on bail.
PC Joe Goodwin said: “Anyone who uses our roads for criminal use, trying to gain from offences, should know that we will take robust action to identify, target and arrest them.
“Theft of vehicles is a priority for us as we know of the devastating and costly repercussions of this type of crime.
“Anyone who has information about who is involved in theft of vehicles should contact us.”
