
A MAN has appeared in court charged with multiple counts of theft from shops and breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order.
Kyle Sherwin, 38, of Dowland Close, Stanford-le-Hope, appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 1 May.
He was charged with 7 counts of shoplifting and seven counts of breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order made by Basildon Crown Court on 24 February 2024 which prevented him from entering three shops in Southend and Stanford-le-Hope. All offences took place between 15 and 28 April.
He was further charged with failing to provide a specimen when he was arrested on Tuesday 30 April.
He has been remanded into custody and will be sentenced at Basildon Crown Court at a later date.
