Aveley man charged with burglary and vehicle offences in Harlow

A MAN has been charged with burglary and vehicle offences in Harlow.

An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We were called at about 4.40am, Wednesday 7 February, to an address in Fir Park with reports of two cars being stolen from a property.

Officers quickly attended the scene, identified the stolen vehicles and followed them before the drivers abandoned them. Within 45 minutes of receiving the call, one man was arrested on suspicion of burglary.

Now, 18-year-old Kian O’Connor, of Romford Road in Aveley, have been charged with two counts of theft of a motor vehicle and one count each of burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to steal vehicles.

He has been released on bail until 16 April.

Officers still want to see any doorbell or video footage from Fir Park, Deer Park and the surrounding area, between 3am and 5am on Wednesday 7 February.
