OFFICERS investigating a large disturbance in Corringham on New Year’s Day are appealing for information and witnesses.
We were called to Corringham Social Club, in Lampits Hill, shortly before 1.30am on Monday 1 January.

Officers were on the scene within ten minutes and conducted enquiries, including speaking to witnesses.
It was established a number of people had been assaulted. Thankfully, none of the injuries suffered were life-threatening or life-changing.
Our investigation into this matter is ongoing and we would urge anyone with information, or footage, which could assist our enquiries to come forward.
PC Alex Watkins, of Grays and Brentwood Local Policing Team, said: “This is a large-scale disturbance whereby a number of persons have suffered injury.
“We are urging anyone who witnessed this incident, has phone recordings or themselves were assaulted to come forward to assist with our investigation.
“Thankfully this incident resulted in no serious injuries.”
