ESSEX Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Stanford-Le-Hope last night, where a man sadly died.
They were called to Butts Lane shortly after 8:30pm last night (5 December) following reports of a single vehicle collision.
Emergency services including the ambulance service were in attendance and the driver of the White Ford Focus was taken to hospital where he sadly died. His next of kin have been informed.
The road was temporarily closed and re-opened shortly after midnight.
