THE FUNERAL has taken place of the teenage boy who was stabbed to death in Grays.
Over 600 mourners paid their respects to 14-year-old Breck Bednar as the funeral made its way through Caterham in Surrey.
The procession was led by a Redhill-based air cadet corps as it travelled to St John’s church
Hundreds of pupils from his former schools – St John’s Primary in Caterhem and St Bede’s in Redhill also attended.
Afterwards the funeral procession was led by a Caterham Seven sports car, which was Breck’s favourite.
The youngster, died from a neck wound last month.
Computer engineer Lewis Daynes, 18, of Rosebery Road, Grays, has been charged with Breck’s murder and is due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on April 28.
