TWO people have been charged as part on an investigation into drugs and weapons offences.
Officers carried out search warrants at two addresses in Celandine Close, South Ockendon, and Cricketers Lane, Herongate, on Thursday 25 November.
Annie Atkinson, 28, of Cricketers Lane, Herongate, and Manie Besjerdi, 30, of Celandine Close, South Ockendon, were arrested and later charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine.
They appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Friday 26 November and are next due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court 4 January.
