
A CHAFFORD Hundred man has been charged with passing counterfeit currency.
Lee Gannon, aged 48, of Trelawney Place, Howard Road, Chafford Hundred has been charged with the following.
On 24/06/2021 at Grays passed as genuine a thing which was and which you knew or believed to be a counterfeit of a currency note, namely a fake £50 bank note
Contrary to sections 15(1)(a) and 22 of the Forgery and Counterfeiting Act 1981.
On 27/06/2021 at Grays in the county of Essex passed as genuine a thing which was and which you knew or believed to be a counterfeit of a currency note, namely a fake £50 bank note
Contrary to sections 15(1)(a) and 22 of the Forgery and Counterfeiting Act 1981.
Gannon has been remanded on unconditional bail until August 27th at Basildon magistrates court.
