A man has been charged in connection with a number of burglaries.
Denver Clift, 35, of Brennan Road, Tilbury, was arrested yesterday, Wednesday 7 July.
He was charged with a burglary at The Co-op in Princess Margaret Road, East Tilbury, yesterday and a second burglary at the same store on 1 June.
He was also charged with:
* an attempted burglary at The Co-Op in Calcutta Road, Tilbury, on 2 June
* a dwelling burglary in Newnham Place, Grays, on 7 July
* handling stolen goods
* driving without insurance, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and dangerous driving.
Clift is due to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Friday 9 July.
