
DETECTIVES investigating the death of a woman in Grays are continuing their enquiries.
They had been called to an address in Lenmore Avenue shortly after 5pm yesterday (Monday 21 June) to reports a woman in her 80s had been found unresponsive.
Sadly, she died at the scene.
A 60 year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder.
She and the victim are known to each other.
A forensic post-mortem examination was carried out this morning but further tests are needed to determine a cause of death.
Officers have been carrying out enquiries today and are continuing to do so.
