A YOUNG girl has been left injured after reportedly being shot by a BB gun at a Grays park.
Police attended Nutberry Playing Fields, off Long Lane, in Stifford Clays shortly before 5.30pm on Friday, April 30, following reports of an assault on a child.

Upon arrival, officers found that a girl was injured with a bloody nose as a result of the assault where a BB gun had been fired at her.
Essex Police has confirmed that no arrests have been made, but police enquiries are ongoing
They have also appealed to anyone who may have information on the assault to come forward.
A spokesperson at Essex Police said: “We received reports of an incident on Nutberry Playing Fields, off Long Lane, in Grays, which happened shortly before 5.30pm on Friday, April 30.
“It was reported that a girl was injured as a result of a BB gun being fired at her.
“She was then assaulted and suffered a bloody nose as a result.
“No arrests have been made and our enquiries into this incident are ongoing.”
