ESSEX Police is appealing for witnesses and information following a fire they believe was started deliberately in South Ockendon.
They were called to reports of a fire at the Jack Lantern pub in Daiglen Drive on 20 September.
It destroyed the roof and the cockle shack was burnt out.
They are treating the fire as arson.
