A SOUTH OCKENDON resident is set to stand trial over allegations that he possessed images of child abuse.
Mateusz Grzesiuk, aged 22, of South Road, South Ockendon has been charged with the following.
Between 05/07/2016 and 09/06/2017 at South Ockendon distributed an indecent photograph, namely 1 Category A, of children, to 8 other users, using Facebook Messenger.
On or Before 16/12/2019 at South Ockendon made an indecent photograph, namely 1 Category A, of a child.
On or Before 16/12/2019 at South Ockendon made indecent photographs, namely 4 Category C, of children.
On or Before 16/12/2019 at South Ockendon made indecent photographs, namely 5 Category B, of children.
On 16/12/2019 at South Ockendon you were in possession of 3 prohibited images of children.
He has been sent for trial under section 51(1) & (2)(b) of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 to Chelmsford Crown Court on 16/09/2020 or such other date, time or place as the Crown Court directs, on unconditional bail.
