POLICE are appealing for information after a girl was offered sweets by an unknown man in Grays.
The ten-year-old local girl was approached by a man while in Belmont Road just before 3.15pm on October 22.
The girl refused the sweets and the man got in to a silver car which had five doors and drove off towards London Road.
The man is described as white, about 6ft tall, of medium build and aged in his late 30s. He had short brown hair and was wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans, red and white basketball style trainers and a gold link bracelet on his right wrist.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Pc Lauren Sharland at Grays police station on 101.
