ESSEX Police are releasing a new photograph of Valentin Kachanov, as they continue our enquiries to find the 27-year-old, who was reported missing from West Thurrock.
He was last seen on Friday 8 February and and his family are concerned for his welfare.
Valentin left his home at about 7am to go to Tesco Extra at Lakeside retail park. He then went to the intu Lakeside shopping centre at 10am.
He withdrew some money from a HSBC cashpoint and may have used the Coral betting shop in the centre.
His movements after this remain unclear, as he may have returned to his home nearby or gone to Grays.
Valentin called his mother, who lives in Bulgaria, at about 7.40pm but has not been in contact since. This is unusual as he was regularly in contact with his family in Bulgaria.
Police are keeping an open mind as to the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
Valentin – or anyone who has seen him or has any information on his whereabouts – are asked to call 101.
Police are also interested to speak to anyone with dash cam footage who travelled along London Road between 6pm and 9pm on Friday 8 February in order to help our enquiries.
