ESSEX Police is no longer looking to identify a man following reports a car windscreen was damaged in South Ockendon.
A spokesperson said: “We issued a video appeal last month following an incident in Stifford Road on Friday, March 1.
“Today, Thursday, April 4, we have arrested a 39-year-old man from South Ockendon on suspicion of criminal damage and affray.
“He has since been released under investigation while our enquiries continue.
“We thank you for sharing and supporting our appeal”.
