TWO more drivers have been convicted following the police summer #DriveSafeDriveSober anti-drink and drug driving campaign.
A total of 205 people were arrested during the campaign which highlighted how alcohol and drugs can impair your reactions when driving.
The consequences of this can be fatal.
The message is #DriveSafeDriveSober.
The drivers convicted are:
Paul Carter, 34, of Cecil Road, Cheshunt:
– Arrested at 9.15am on June 19 on A121 in Waltham Abbey;
– Disqualified for 18 months, fined £346, £85 costs, £34 victim surcharge for drug driving.
Nicolaas Luitsz, 39, of Crofton Road, Grays:
– Arrested at 12.20am on June 29 in Hathaway Road, Grays;
– Disqualified for 18 months, fined £400, £200 costs, £40 victim surcharge for drink driving.
