ESSEX Police are appealing for information about a knife point robbery in a shop in Grays at around 8.30pm yesterday, Saturday, December 29.
A man entered Globe Off Licence, in Gipsy Lane, armed with a large knife while an accomplice waited by the shop’s front door.
The man who entered then threatened a member of staff before both suspects left with cigarettes, cash and phone cards.
Essex Police understand there were customers who entered the shop shortly before and after the incident.
Anyone with anyone information or CCTV or dash cam footage is asked to call Grays CID quoting crime reference 42/190838/18 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
