A MAN is due to appear in court charged with engaging in coercive and controlling behaviour.
Earl Valton, 36, of Hathaway Crescent, Manor Park, is due to appear in Basildon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, September 27.
He was also charged with two counts actual bodily harm, criminal damage and making threats.
The charge follows reports made to domestic abuse officers in Grays on Friday, August 24.
