THURROCK DISTRICT PUBLIC MEETING – TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11
DO you want to know the latest on crime trends and proactive policing operations in the Thurrock District? Do you have a question for Essex County Fire and Rescue Service’s senior team? If so make a date in your diary to come along to a public meeting being held in Grays, organised by Roger Hirst, the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex.
The meeting is taking place on Tuesday, September 11 between 6.30pm and 8pm at the Beehive, West Street, Grays, RM17 6XP.
Mr Hirst said: “I hold regular public meetings across the length and breadth of the county. They are a great way to hear from local communities directly and we can help them resolve community safety issues. Very often a joint approach is the answer to a problem. With a panel of experts on hand, our public meetings are a great way to find the solutions together.”
Sitting alongside Roger Hirst will be Jane Gardner, the Deputy Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex, and Superintendent Craig Saunders from Essex Police. They will also be joined by Station Manager Justin Benson-Ryal from Essex County Fire and Rescue Service and Julie Rogers, Director Environment and Highways at Thurrock Council, chair of the local Community Safety Partnership.
A briefing document detailing crime trends and proactive work in the district will be made available in advance of the meeting on our website at www.essex.pfcc.police.uk
